Elias Rankings Moving

They'll be on mlbtraderumors.com from here on out. I'm sure if you found this site, you know all about MLB Trade Rumors.

I know all about MLBtraderumors, and read it every day, but could you please give us a heads up on this site when they're posted? I haven't seen the rankings for a while. There's a lot to sort through over there. I think you do a great job with the Elias rankings. GREAT job!

One question: where is Polanco right now in the rankings? Thanks.

I found Polanco. D'oh! I see that he dropped to Type B status. That's very important with his free agency pending. He was just barely still a Type A free agent on your rankings at the end of April. If he's a Type A, he could suffer from what I call "Orlando syndrome", named for Orlando Hudson and Orlando Cabrera, who were both Type A free agents, and had some difficulty getting clubs to bid for them, not wanting to part with a first round pick as compensation.
I think the Tigers should offer Polly arbitration. Either they get him back on a one year deal, which he'd be reluctant to sign otherwise, or they get two nice picks as compensation. I would not be comfortable replacing one of the steadiest fielders in the league with a rookie, even if Polly wasn't hitting and had to bat 8th.

Eddie,

I hope they are rewarding you handsomely. You do a great job with this.

It's a shame that we won't have the same amount of access to the list that you gave us.

Thanks again for your genius.
